SALES MANAGER JOB POSTING Position/Title: Sales Manager Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Job Responsibilities Oversee a sales team to achieve sales targets, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the sales process, product knowledge and the medical device market.
Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team 3 W-2’s + 1099s.
Proven track record in sales preferably in the medical device/manufacturing and/or pharma industry.
This position is a blend of leadership, sales strategy, and execution, often requiring interactions with management, including internal departments and customers.
Coaching and developing a sales team to achieve goals.
Developing and implementing sales strategies, plans, and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets.
Manage and support a team of 1099 distributors Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers and distributors Identify new business opportunities and increase market intelligence of our medical device products Provide product training demonstrations and support customers and 1099 distributors Maintain positive collaboration with our marketing, product development and customer service departments to support strategic business growth Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts and reports using Salesforce.
Provide regular product training updates, and sales resources to ensure 1099s are equipped to sell products effectively.
Conduct consistent sales calls/outreach with distributors to strengthen overall business relationships.
Have a constant presence and be the main contact between the company and the 1099 representatives who report to the Sales Manager to facilitate communication, feedback, reporting and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor and track all sales activity for all 1099s reporting to the sales manager.
Requirements/Benefits Minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience 5 years in a managerial role is preferred Experience managing a sales team + 1099s.
