Position Summary

The Indiana University School of Public Health Bloomington (SPH B) invites applications for a mid-to-senior level tenure/tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Applied Health Science . This search seeks applicants at the Associate or Full Professor rank to serve within as a member of the nutrition faculty. The SPH -B seeks individuals who will contribute toward academic excellence in teaching in support of our mission of preventing disease and promoting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. This 10 month appointment would ideally start August 1, 2025. Continuing the momentum of hiring over 60 outstanding faculty members over the last three years, the SPH -B is launching another wave of faculty recruitment. The Department of Applied Health Science unites a multidisciplinary faculty with expertise in social and behavioral science applied to health; nutrition and dietetics; opioids, addictions, and substance use prevention; sexual and reproductive health; human development and family studies/youth development; safety/total worker health/injury prevention; maternal and child health; and global public health, all pursuing the common goal of preventing disease and promoting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
