Forklift Operator & Material Handler Full-Time Opportunity in Lumber Yard

Location: Linwood, NC

Schedule: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available

Job Duties Include

Palletizing & Loading

Palletize lumber and other materials for shipment

Assist with loading flatbed trucks and train rail cars

Operate forklift after certification to safely move and stack materials Forklift Operation & Yard Work

Transport lumber throughout the yard and to/from kilns

Stack units by width and length, ensuring stability and accuracy

Perform minor forklift maintenance, including debris removal and sweeping work areas Inventory & Record-Keeping

Scan pallets and log movement to maintain accurate inventory records

Record arrivals, departures, and relocation of goods Safety & Communication

Follow all company safety rules and OSHA regulations

Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure smooth operations Ideal Candidate Will

Be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in various weather conditions

Have a strong attention to detail and safety

Be team-oriented and dependable

Forklift experience is a plus, but training and certification will be provided Why Join Us?
