Summary Statement

This position is primarily focused on providing Application development and expertise for the Delaware Judicial Branch’s custom application environment. Duties include, but are not limited to, program documentation, addressing support tickets, troubleshooting and updating custom applications, and troubleshooting and updating applications with databases. JIC is initiating a modernization project that will convert several Mainframe- and .NET-based applications into a consolidated platform hosted in the cloud. The applicant must meet the requirements below with the understanding that training will be provided to expand the applicant’s knowledge set to accommodate the transition project to the new platform.

Preferred Qualification

Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualifications will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.

Knowledge and experience with JCLs.

Knowledge of or experience with SoftwareAG’s Web Methods.

Knowledge or willingness to learn Eclipse ID

Job Requirements

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

Knowledge of or experience with NaturalONE or similar Mainframe-hosted code languages.

Knowledge of or experience with troubleshooting existing Mainframe programs and writing new programs.

Knowledge of or experience with Adabas.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Conditions of Hire

A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.
