The Enterprise Sales Executive directs the actual distribution or movement of product and service to the customer. This position coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals. This position also analyzes sales statistics gathered by business development department to determine sales potential and monitor the preferences of customers.
Reports To: Director of Sales
Essential Responsibilities:
Interfacing directly with the Customer, Engineering Firm, Electrical/General Contractor, or Management Group
Coordinate efforts with Engineering, Project Managers, Operations, etc. to ensure all bid deadlines, walkthroughs, pre-bids, and quote deliveries are met
Maintain business relationships with current clients and effectively communicate their problems/needs back to Operations
Actively pursue new business opportunities through meetings, lunch, attend/lead group meetings, business afterhours, etc.
Communicate with manufacturer partners to maintain good standing and become involved in future business opportunities
Achieve quarterly budgets and year-end sales goals set forth by CEO
Frequently entertain current clients and prospective clients
Develop sales strategies and set targets
Monitor team's performance and motivate business development to reach targets
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Other Responsibilities
Compile and analyze sales figures
Collect customer feedback and conduct market research
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years’ experience in sales
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to compile and translate complex customer business and technical requirements into specific deliverable solutions.
Ability to be assertive and persuasive with prospects, clients and colleagues
Skill in reading and interpreting technical documentation and guides
Strong time management, organizational, presentation and relationship building skills.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in Telecommunications/Structured Cabling Industry is preferred.
