Description
The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department is accepting applications for a regular part-time Facilities Assistant.
Examples of Duties
Answering phones
Collecting fees for registrations and rentals
Preparing and securing the facilities for events
Assisting customers, participants, and volunteers as needed
Monitoring league games, tournaments, and special events
Maintaining and operating equipment
Working special events and other related duties
Option to work paid specials
Hours vary - Must be available evenings and weekends (average of 29 hours per week). Special events may require additional scheduled hours. Minimum 4-5 hour shift.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age
Have a valid driver's license
Good communication and customer service skills are a must.
