The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking candidates with a passion for public service to fill three Assistant Deputy Director positions in our Collections Enforcement Section. This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is 30 E Broad St. Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will perform the following supervisory duties while fostering a team environment, which include, but are not limited to:

- Assists the Deputy Direct in defining goals and objectives for State Client portfolios and staff.

- Develops policies and procedures.

- Manages Debt Management (DM) and Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS) operations and problem resolution for State Client portfolio and staff.

- Supervises and trains assigned staff.

- Manages and provides guidance to lower-level supervisors and staff.

- Assists Deputy Director in preparing financial and other requested reports.

- Prepares information for Public Information Request and On Demand reports.

- Recommends new procedures to enhance collections processing.

- Handles sensitive contact with the general public, clients, and legal personnel.

-Handles varied public relations duties.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

Completion of Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or related area or equivalent work experience;

Previous supervisory or Team Lead experience;

Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a call center environment;

Previous experience with reporting;

Previous experience in a collections or legal environment.

Job skills: professional, attention to detail, leading others, teamwork, verbal communication, and written communication
