We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support the operations of our self-perform division, specializing in electrical, framing, and drywall trades throughout our multifamily development projects. This role is critical in maintaining cost controls, processing billings, and supporting piece work tracking to ensure labor efficiency and project profitability.
This position requires a strong understanding of AIA billing (G702/G703), budget management, change order administration, and piece work documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working within a self-perform or general contractor structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage monthly pay applications, including G702/G703 forms
Track labor output and support piece work verification in coordination with field supervisors
Maintain accurate budget logs, job cost reports, and forecasts across self-perform scopes
Process and track internal and external change orders, from pricing to final approval
Coordinate closely with field leads to capture completed work for billing and piece-rate tracking
Support procurement efforts by managing purchase orders, delivery tracking, and field receipts
Ensure timely and accurate communication between job sites, accounting, and development teams
Maintain organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and lien releases
Assist with jobsite coordination, project meetings, inspection scheduling, and progress documentation
Support closeout efforts, including punch lists, warranties, and final pay applicationsRequirements:
Qualifications:
3–5 years of construction administration experience, ideally in a self-perform or GC environment
Direct experience with piece work tracking or labor production documentation preferred
Working knowledge of AIA G702/G703 forms and construction billing processes
Proficient in construction software platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel)
Familiarity with electrical, framing, and drywall scopes of work
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
