Currently, we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our office team!
Primary Job Function: As the Financial Controller at Riley Plumbing Heating & Air, you will oversee all financial aspects of our growing company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. You will manage accounting operations, maintain internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. This role is essential to our commitment to financial transparency and growth, providing you with an opportunity to make a significant impact within our locally owned, family-oriented company.
Position: Financial Controller
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, fully on site
Pay Range: $145,000 - $156,000 yearly, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
Manage and mentor accounting staff.
Oversee tax planning and coordinate audits.
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and present key findings
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of financial closing experience
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
3+ years in a supervisory role with demonstrated leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to create and present training materials to groups
CPA or MBA, preferred
