The Senior Manager, Strategy and FP&A will own and drive financial planning and analysis activities with a core focus on our portfolio of next generation streetwear brands, led by Culture Kings and mnml.
This role is critical to ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, and growth by delivering insightful analysis, proactive decision support, and collaborative financial leadership.
You will be responsible for end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
You will work closely with leaders in marketing, merchandising, operations, and other key departments to provide actionable insights, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.
This is a critical role for a self-starter with a growth mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a talent for translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Own and manage long-term, annual, and quarterly financial planning processes for our streetwear brands, including our cash and operating forecasts
Lead the development and presentation of P&L projections, highlighting key assumptions and risks.
Performance Management:
Monitor key financial metrics and operational / marketing KPIs, ensuring they are tracked, understood, and actionable.
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to deliver real-time visibility into financial and operational performance.
Lead weekly and monthly business reviews
Strategic Analysis:
Perform scenario analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, and deep dives into specific business challenges to uncover growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Evaluate new initiatives, such as product launches, marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, market expansion, and M&A
Compare performance against key peers
Team & Process Leadership:
Mentor and guide junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Drive process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial planning and reporting.
Innovation & Technology:
Stay abreast of financial tools, systems, and industry trends to leverage technology for enhanced performance and forecasting accuracy.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
6-8+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or investment banking, preferably with direct-to-consumer or omni-channel consumer brands. Apparel industry experience is a strong plus.
Knowledge & Skills
Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills
Proficiency with software systems and applications such as NetSuite, Anaplan, Planful, Tableau, and PowerBI is highly desired
Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability effectively monitor project timelines and manage to key deadlines
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs with a desire to continuously learn, expand, and improve
