Job Description
Objective of the Position: Assist Plant Controller with preparing financial information and reports by compiling information, and utilizing appropriate internal accounting control procedures.
Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
Compile financial information and document business transactions.
Analyzes data, tracks trends, resolves issues and investigate root cause.
Prepare and review expense, and other accounting documents.
Prepare reports for management review.
Participate in Month-end processes.
Process financial internal controls.
Manage accruals and make journal entries.
Data management to improve/maintain accuracy of data.
Support costing.
Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in either Accounting or Finance
Minimum two years’ experience working in an accounting or financial role
Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced Microsoft Excel skill
Preferred (not required) familiarity with SAP.
Technical Expertise:
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
Analytical- Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.
Strives to continuously improve expertise, knowledge and skills.
