Venesco is seeking a Junior Systems Analyst to provide services at the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in Arlington, VA. Junior Systems Analyst will provide support for all Federal Acquisition (FA) Systems including DEA internal and other Governmental and non-governmental systems. Support includes:

Monitor Impact Assessment and DEA Implementation planning for external program and system development

Develop and deploy system training

Develop and aintain system and process documentation

Develop and maintain user documentation

Hotline user support

Develop and maintain system metrics & dashboard reports

Execute system/data audits

Release Management

Test version releases and upgrades

Execute system data pulls and data analysis/ data mining tasks and report

System Development: Develop system requirements, Project Management, System Pilot and Implementation

Automate manual processes with applications including, but not limited to:

UFMS (Momentum)

SQL

SharePoint (SP2016 and 2019)

SharePoint Designer (2013)

InfoPath

SharePoint 365 [and Power-automate]

Captivate

Microsoft Office suite

Adobe Pro

MS PowerBI

DEALS [DEA training application]

Microsoft.Net

Research and learn new technology tools and applications to improve processes in FA and/or DEA.

Monitor the Environment for new developments (in systems, policies, programs, directives, FAR changes, laws, operational changes, etc.) for DEA and Acquisition impacts. Assess impact, develop optional ways to address for management consideration and implementation.

Work closely and coordinate with Acquisition Operations and Policy on day-to-day operational assessments and process improvement enhancements.

Develop and manage all Office internal / external communications (including 508 compliance as required): Develop memorandums, emails, instructions, etc.; Manage standardizing and consistency of communication across Office;

Manage vetting processes, publishing and posting standards.

Full life-cycle support for the Financial Management Division’s (CFO) intranet and team sites (DEA-wide access = intranet, internal division/office access = team sites).

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Three (3) years of IT experience

Broad technical skills (SQL, SharePoint, Power BI)

User helpdesk experience

Proficient in at least one of the following: UFMS application, Momentum software or similar contract/financial management system

Developing system requirements and Office of Acquisition & Relocation (FA) application tools, developing process workflow and documentation

Resolving issues and developing resolution recommendations

Ability to work collaboratively with contracting, financial management and relocation staff

Ability to communicate orally and in writing

Ability to plan and execute work independently

Team player, well organized, self-motivated, curious, hungry and a quick learner

Good analytical skills
