Job Title: VoIP Technician/Phone Installer

Location: Waco, TX (with travel to various client sites in OK)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced VoIP Technician/Phone Installer to support a large national healthcare organization in migrating their VoIP phone systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Avaya and/or Cisco systems and be comfortable working in hospital and clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design Review: Evaluate and review technical designs for various sites and ministries.

Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and partner personnel.

Onsite Installation and Testing: Travel to client sites to install and test VoIP phones.

Telecommunications Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge and practical experience with telecommunications systems and technologies.

PBX and Wiring: Understand and work with PBX systems and low voltage wiring.

Device Implementation: Implement devices at multiple sites, including:

Deploy up to 620 phones at sites.

Rack and stack one network switch per location, if needed.

Requirements:

Customer-Facing Skills: Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in hospital and clinic settings.

Travel: Willingness to travel to various client sites in both TX and OK. Travel expenses will be covered by TEKsystems.

Experience: Previous experience as a Voice Field Technician, specifically with Avaya and/or Cisco systems.
