GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Scheduling Coordinator for the Carter School of Business schedules all coursework for undergraduate and graduate courses under the authority of the Dean of the college. In addition, assists in the management of day-to-day operations for the college. Skills used in this position include communication, evaluation, organization, and implementation. Assignments and responsibilities will require high levels of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual must be able to meet and deal with a variety of faculty and staff and schedule courses as well as resolve issues in a judicious manner that is fair to the individual and the Carter School of Business.

Develop and maintain working knowledge of applicable University tools and systems
Maintain office policies and procedures SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Secure reservation of classrooms and event halls for Carter School of Business events
Assist the Assistant to the Dean in planning and coordinating any College events and faculty luncheons
Assist with and participate in day-to-day operations and office environment
Maintain and update process documents for Scheduling Coordinator role as needed.
Maintain and update post project reviews for scheduling cycles.
Maintain records and handle documentation of active adjunct faculty
Assist full-time and adjunct faculty with questions regarding the use of Blackboard and self-service platforms
Prepare payroll advices for adjunct faculty pay and full-time overload pay.
Create and edit (as needed) the Carter School of Business course schedule in Coursedog.
Create reports and other informational documentation related to enrollment, history of courses included in the schedule and faculty assignments for the Dean, graduate program directors, and undergraduate program chairs.
Develop reports analyzing historical trends and data related to course schedule, capacity, frequency of courses and other requested data to suggest more efficient course scheduling options
Consult and meet with the Dean of the Carter School of Business, Program Directors and Department Chairs to determine the courses and number of sections of each course that will be included in each scheduling cycle.
Monitor curriculum changes to actively reflect changes in correct schedule cycles.
Monitor full-time and adjunct faculty loads throughout the terms to comply with contracts, and university policies.
Communicate with adjunct faculty regarding their course assignments each semester and communicate to Program Directors and Department Chairs for confirmations or other issues, as well as provide assistance in contacting adjunct faculty when necessary.
Monitor the schedule during enrollment to identify classes that may need to be canceled and additional sections that may need to be added.
Supervise and manage student workers by confirming schedules, assigning tasks, approving time in pay system, and coordinating onboarding of all student workers.
Monitor the student waitlist throughout the enrollment cycle to provide Dean with information about adding course sections, increasing capacity, etc.
Communicate with full-time and adjunct faculty regarding upcoming deadlines for attendance verification and reporting of grades.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position with regular office hours between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
