Job Description
Responsibilities:
Strong background in metal stamping processes, tooling, and automation, focused on optimizing production efficiency and quality
Develop, maintain, and improve stamping processes to ensure high-quality production, cost-effectiveness, and safety compliance
Design, develop, and implement metal stamping processes for new and existing products
Optimize stamping processes to improve production efficiency, product quality, and reduce scrap rates
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to stamping machinery and processes
Work with toolmakers and design engineers to develop and optimize stamping dies and tools
Ensure proper setup and maintenance of stamping presses and related equipment
Recommend and implement upgrades to tooling and machinery to enhance performance
Collaborate with quality control to monitor product quality and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle time, waste, and production costs
Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and eliminate bottlenecks
Ensure all metal stamping processes and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards
Conduct safety training for machine operators and production staff
Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams

The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline
3-5 years of hands-on experience in metal stamping or a comparable manufacturing process
In-depth knowledge of metal stamping techniques, tooling design, and material properties
Skilled in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and experienced with simulation tools
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Effective team player with excellent communication skills across departments
Understanding of safety standards and industry regulations
Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and fluctuating temperatures
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials when required What's on Offer
