Local to Michigan with prior state client experience,

Location: Likely related to DTMB and MDOT (Michigan-based agencies)

Employment Type: Contract or Full-time

Primary Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering Documentation:

Elicit, define, and document clear, unambiguous, testable business requirements.

Utilize standard templates and ensure compliance with DTMB/MDOT policies.

Facilitate Requirement Meetings:

Lead meetings with stakeholders and project team to define business processes and project needs.

Agile Project Support:

Maintain project backlog, work with product owner on priorities, and monitor project scope.

Process Analysis:

Analyze both current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes, systems, and data.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Engage with UI/UX designers, tech leads, developers, DBAs, QA, etc.

Governance Compliance:

Support data governance, ensure stakeholder awareness, and maintain SEM documentation deliverables.

Decision Support:

Assist with Build vs. Buy analysis and resolve critical IT issues from the BA perspective.

Required Skills Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst.

Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

At least 5 years of experience writing:

Epics, Features, User Stories.

As-Is / To-Be process flows.
