Description
Arcade Game Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of arcade games. The Game Technicians perform all preventative maintenance on machines and fix machines that are broken. During operational hours, they are also responsible for taking calls about games not functioning properly, maintaining stocking levels in instant win games, and keeping the facility clean.
Weekend availability is critical
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair game issues in a timely fashion.
Answer game issue calls on the game floor.
Performs basic preventative maintenance on machines.
Inform the General Manager of potential machine problems.
Test every game every week and log into our tracking system
Complete weekly projects and tasks.
Complete weekly maintenance sheet as assigned by Maintenance Dashboard
Complete weekly cleaning checklist.
Maintains a neat and orderly workshop.
Ensures that all self-contained games are stocked with prizes.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures staff follow all safety rules.
Maintains game appearance and stocking throughout open hours
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
Must have working knowledge of how to use/operate a multi-Meter.
Must have basic electronic troubleshooting skills.
Prior Arcade game repair experience is a plus.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Professional.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.
Mathematical Skills
Arcade Game Technicians must have a technical disposition. Ability to diagnose problems with a multi-meter and to read a schematic or flowchart.
