We are looking for a Physical therapist to join our medical group full time at our offices in Homestead and Hialeah FL. Ideally, we are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) who is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients recover from musculoskeletal and neurological injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Candidates must have strong documentation skills and the ability to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with personal injury cases. Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic, neurologic, or PI-focused rehab settings is strongly preferred. A willingness to undergo training in the evaluation and treatment of mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) patients is required. The Physical Therapist must demonstrate clinical excellence, a commitment to patient-centered care, an understanding of how proper documentation supports both medical outcomes and legal case value, and be comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team that includes chiropractors, nurse practitioners, neurologists, and medical doctors

Duties:
Perform comprehensive initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and discharge assessments, documenting objective findings and functional deficits using orthopedic, neurological, and postural testing.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis, functional limitations, and goals, with a focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving quality of life.
Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to ensure treatment plans are carried out effectively and modified as needed.
Treat patients directly using a combination of therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, manual therapy techniques, and physical modalities.
Document all evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in a timely manner, using med-legal compliant templates within the EMR.
Collaborate with the internal clinical team (including chiropractors, ARNPs, and neurologists) and participate in case reviews to ensure coordinated care plans and consistent communication with referring attorneys.
Recommend additional diagnostic testing (e.g., MRI, DTI MRI) or specialist referrals (e.g., Neurologist, Pain Management) when clinically indicated.
Educate patients on their conditions, home exercise programs, and the importance of compliance for recovery and case resolution.
Participate in training to assess and treat mTBI patients, including the use of tools such as the Rivermead questionnaire, RightEye, BrainCheck, and vestibular or balance platforms (e.g., Trazer, BioSway).
Contribute to a positive patient experience by maintaining professionalism, empathy, and a proactive approach to each patient’s unique recovery journey.Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Physical Therapy license in FL
Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic, neurologic, or PI-focused rehab settings is strongly preferred
Willingness to undergo training in the evaluation and treatment of mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) patientsSchedule:

$105k-$125k per year plus performance based compensation
