MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC with a 4-day/week schedule, Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.--and have the rest of the week for yourself!

If you are an accomplished Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician / Multicraft Maintenance Tech with expertise in the manufacturing sector--this is a great opportunity to become part of the maintenance team for a well-established manufacturer near the Ward, SC, and Greenville, SC, area with varying schedules (though there may be other similar roles opening up soon!).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Tech will be an important part of the Maintenance team that helps ensure that the manufacturing equipment is proactively maintained to optimize production and safety with proactive/preventive maintenance work on the company’s broad array of equipment that includes hydraulics, conveyors, packaging equipment, labelers, pneumatics, electrical, conveyors, HVAC, robotics, and other systems in this well-established plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility with the ability to proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment following good preventive maintenance (PM) principles. Please note that this is not a facilities-maintenance role.

Expertise in proactive maintenance of manufacturing/production systems is required with a continuous-improvement approach is needed, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (e.g., PLC troubleshooting), and other systems such as VFDs is required as is the ability to read blueprints and schematics and keep good maintenance-related records.

Experience with conveyors, photo sensors, control panels, replacing fuses, repairing gearboxes, and/or replacing them.

Additional training, certification, and/or education in relevant fields such as manufacturing systems, engineering tech, or similar is preferred though not required.

Able to work a four-day/week schedule on Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. As there is more than one opening, there may be some variation to the shift schedules.

Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship of any type as none is or will be available.
