Job Description

Job Summary: The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and straighten metal sheets and plates. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine specifications, such as material type, size, and shape.

Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bending and forming of materials.

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
