The facility offers support from hospitalists and an intensivist team, creating a collaborative medical environment. The hospital is equipped to handle a variety of surgical procedures and provides resources for both general and cardiothoracic surgical care.

Opportunity: ACLS-BLS - Surgery - General

This is a short-term locum tenens opportunity from June 27 to July 7, working 7a-7a shifts. The position focuses primarily on call coverage without clinic hours or elective procedures, with minimal post-operative patient management required.

Job Details:

Call-only position with limited rounding responsibilities (fewer than 5 post-operative patients)

Low volume of 3-5 patient encounters per shift

Support available from hospitalists and intensivists

Patients may be transferred to other services when appropriate

Preferred skills include laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy, and thoracic surgery

Experience with vascular procedures, chest wall/pleural procedures, and ventilation management is valued

Board certification eligible physicians will be considered

Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
