Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide or CNA to provide exceptional care as a Live-In Caregiver for a 97 year of male in Stroudsburg, PA.

About the Position:

Live-In Caregivers perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing

Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises

Medication oversight and reminders

Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness

Cooking, meal and snack preparation

Shopping (grocery, household, other),running errands, transport to appointments

Perform homemaking activities including

Dementia/Alzheimer's Care

Skills

Strong understanding of care practices in home community care settings.

Experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients safely.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Empathy and patience in dealing with clients' needs and emotions.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION:

Certified Nurse Aide Certification or Home Health Aide Certification

Current CPR/BLS Certification

TB Required : 2 Step PPD, Quanti- feron or a Chest X-Ray (within the last 12 months)

Ability to Pass a state/FBI Background Check

Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care in an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or direct client care in a home care agency setting (preferred).

High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)

College Degree (Highly Preferred)

Must have a valid driver's license, Clean Driving Record, Proof of Auto Insurance Coverage and RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

Must be dependable

$225 per day
