**Job Title: Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. This role involves operating machinery to produce high-quality products, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining equipment. This position offers a blend of custom project work and production tasks, providing variety and opportunities for skill enhancement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
+ Observe and maintain specifications during drilling, boring, tapping, grooving, cutting, milling, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
+ Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
+ Keep accurate counts and production records.
+ Translate detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
+ Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
+ Select and load raw materials needed for production into the machine.
+ Enter job specification sizes and shapes into the machine for optimal operation.
+ Inspect all finished goods to ensure quality and standards are maintained.
+ Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly, and perform basic preventative maintenance.
+ Strictly adhere to job specifications and ensure quality in production.
+ Perform any other duties required by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of CNC Mill experience preferred.
+ Ability to interpret G and M code, and make offsets and necessary edits to the program.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Demonstrated working knowledge of mechanical devices.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Proven history of working with gauges and calipers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently and interdependently.
+ Experience with CNC programming, setup, and changeovers.
+ Knowledge of tooling, tool and die, and axis mill and lathe operations.

**Work Environment**
We offer openings on two shifts. The 1st shift is from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with the potential to adjust the start time to 6 am. The 2nd shift runs from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am, Monday to Thursday. The work environment encourages safety, precision, and cleanliness, ensuring a productive and enjoyable atmosphere.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
