We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and implement robust Java-based solutions that drive efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and streamline financial operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java backend development, responsive frontend interfaces, and SQL Server database management, with a strong background in software engineering, cloud platforms, and financial systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including financial analysts, business stakeholders, and junior developers, to deploy high-performance applications that enhance our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based backend services using Spring frameworks to support financial operations, including Transaction processing systems for handling complex financial workflows
Reporting engines for generating accurate financial statements and analyses
Integration services for connecting with financial platforms like Sage Intacct
Secure APIs for data exchange between internal and external systems
Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular) that meet the needs of financial users
Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure efficient deployment processes
Integrate solutions with existing platforms and business applications to improve efficiency and automation
Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability within cloud-based environments and improve based on feedback and real-world data
Ensure solutions align with financial regulations, compliance standards, and security best practices
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on Java technologies
Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security)
Strong experience with SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
Expertise in frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern framework (React or Angular).
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Sage Intacct or similar Fund accounting platforms
Understanding of Private Equity Fund Administration or Fund Accounting
Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Jasmine, Playwright)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

The salary range for this position is $91,000- $130,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. This position will work a hybrid schedule from either our New York or Denver office, comprised of a minimum of two (2) days a week in our office and three (3) days remote.
