As a Senior Software Developer (IC3-IC4), you will be at the forefront of building Oracle's next-generation RAG/Agent platform for Oracle Fusion products. You will design and implement AI systems that can intelligently retrieve information, reason about complex business scenarios, and automate sophisticated workflows within enterprise environments.

This role requires deep expertise in modern AI technologies including large language models, vector databases, and agent frameworks. You will architect systems that seamlessly integrate with Oracle's robust data ecosystem while maintaining the highest standards for security, scalability, and performance. Your solutions will empower users to interact with enterprise data in more intuitive and productive ways.

Working in a collaborative team environment, you will partner with product managers, domain experts, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into production-grade AI implementations. You will serve as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices for AI development across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience building scalable AI solutions with a strong engineering foundation. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. This position does not require travel.

Job duties are varied and complex, utilizing independent judgment in solving technical challenges and making architectural decisions. The role offers significant opportunity to shape the future of AI within Oracle's enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable RAG architectures and AI Agent workflows that integrate with Oracle Fusion products

Develop sophisticated Agent-based systems utilizing frameworks like AutoGen and LangGraph to solve complex enterprise problems

Architect Multi-Agent Systems that enable collaborative problem-solving through specialized agent roles, coordination protocols, and workflow orchestration

Implement advanced prompting techniques including chain-of-thought reasoning, tool augmentation, and context management for improved AI performance

Build advanced unstructured data search solutions utilizing Vector DBs, Reranking, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG techniques

Implement comprehensive Agentic Evaluation Frameworks to assess reasoning abilities, task completion accuracy, and multi-agent collaboration effectiveness

Design Advanced Benchmarking Systems that measure agent performance across dimensions including problem-solving capabilities, knowledge retrieval accuracy, instruction following, and reasoning transparency

Develop automated testing infrastructure to continuously evaluate agent behaviors against adversarial prompts, edge cases, and evolving enterprise requirements

Develop distributed AI systems that can handle enterprise-scale workloads with high reliability and fault tolerance

Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Optimize large language model performance for enterprise applications through parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
