As a Virtualization Specialists for the Linux Sales Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding existing client relationships in North America. This position is integral to our mission of supporting enterprises with cutting-edge Linux Virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record with 10+ years of software sales experience, any previous sales experience selling infrastructure software solutions would be a plus. This sales specialist will be highly skilled in articulating the Linux Virtualization proposition including the licensing model, pricing, features and overall direction of the Linux Virtualization roadmap, including a keen understanding of Linux Virtualization business drivers to position to prospective customers. Intellectual curiosity with a passion for sales as well as being able to work with customers to develop their Virtualization business strategy is a must.
Performance Attributes:
Drive revenue growth and expansion within specific Named Accounts with focus in a Named territory
Manage a financial quota ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Promote and sell Oracle’s Linux Virtualization solutions, emphasizing their strategic value and benefits.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that address specific customer needs.
Regularly forecast, manage and close Linux Virtualization deals
Identify, apply, and collaborate with key internal partners in an assigned account territory (solution consultants, business development consultants, management, and peers)
Identify and maneuver across key customers within your territory
Document territory plan including target companies, existing users, marketing plans, etc.
Ability to quickly develop, implement, and routinely modify a 30, 60, 90-day territory plan
Ability to build and present a quarterly business review to management
Understanding of how to effectively move a deal through the complete lifecycle
Operate as part of a sophisticated matrix and collaborative culture to deliver results
Position Requirements & Experience:
BS or BA degree or applicable experience preferred
Extensive sales experience with virtualization platforms e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM etc.
Good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Knowledge with VMware environments including but not limited to VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, HCX, SRM etc. Experience with the Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and how to extend VMware or OpenShift environments into the cloud.
Experience with cloud migration strategies and methodologies, including but not limited to VMware workloads.
Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure including compute, network, storage, and related architecture.
Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technologies.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $138,900 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
