The employee will earn $25.00 per hour after completing the initial training requirement.

Duties/Responsibilities

Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.

Conduct regular patrols.

Monitor activities.

Surveillance.

Access control.

Safety escorts.

Using provided communication devices.

Represent SSNW’s brand.

Properly wear the issued uniform.

Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).

Complete Incident Reports.

Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services.

Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures.

Other duties as described in the Post Orders.

Required Skills/Abilities

Must have Graveyard/ Weekend availability

Access to a smartphone with access to the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.

MUST have a clean driving record

5+ years of licensed driving experience

Reliable transportation, (must own your own car.)

Honesty and integrity.

Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License.

Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situations.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of licensed driving experience

Prior public safety and/or military experience preferred.

Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or plans on obtaining one).

Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.

Able to stand 8 hours a day.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

This position is located in the Spokane, WA area.
