Provide responsible, professional, and highly sensitive confidential administrative and technical support to the College President and the Chief of Staff under minimal supervision and direction.

The Executive Assistant will serve as the liaison between the President's Office and internal and external stakeholders.

This position will be responsible for managing the President's calendar including coordinating and preparing for meetings, making travel arrangements, ordering supplies and materials, processing invoices, and reconciling credit card expenses.

Essential Functions * Provide responsible professional and highly sensitive confidential administrative and technical support to the College President and the Chief of Staff under minimal supervision and direction.

* Relieves the Chief of Staff of administrative details and acts with discretion and independent judgement on matters of significance * Manages the President's calendar, coordinating and preparing for meetings, including Board of Trustee meetings * Determines and anticipates the needs of the President regarding upcoming meetings; report and communicate information verbally, in writing, and electronically where judgement, knowledge, and interpretation of policies and regulations may be necessary; manage and maintain meeting proceedings utilizing a variety of record keeping models.

* Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders through various methods of communication including in-person, phone calls, emails, and mail * Completes daily activities essential to the President's office operation including, but not limited to reconciling credit card expenses, purchasing office supplies, processing invoices, budget allocations/reallocations and preparing confidential correspondence * Arranges and schedules a variety of meetings and conferences for the President and Chief of Staff; make travel arrangements and prepare related paperwork for processing; prepare purchase orders, budget transfers and order supplies and materials * Participates in supporting Presidential level events with internal, external, and high-level community stakeholders as well as legislators Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree * 5-7 years' experience in an academic environment with demonstrated management responsibility evidence.

* Written and verbal communication skills and adaptable to many diverse constituencies.

Excellent listening skills required.

* Demonstrated critical thinking, managerial, planning, and presentation skills.

* Demonstrated record of collaborative and consultative relationships with senior leaders and community.

* Experience with complex conflict resolution/problem solving often involving financial and analytical skills.

* Research skills - methodology and ability to synthesize & present data in a well-organized and professional manner.
