Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Associate IT Project Manager to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $27.00 per hour.

IT Project Manager Job Overview:

The Tennessee Department of Health's Office of Communication & Media Relations is seeking a highly motivated System Associate IT Project Manager to join their team as a web developer with a specialized focus on maintaining and improving accessibility compliance in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and WCAG standards. **MUST BE LOCAL TO THE NASHVILLE AREA - POSITION REQUIRES BEING IN-OFFICE ONE DAY EACH MONTH**

IT Project Manager Responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Office of Communication & Media Relations in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating projects and strategies which meet the overall public communication mission and goals of the Tennessee Department of Health.

Supporting the Department's Web Administrator in maintaining the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment, component configuration, and workflows for the deployment, organization, and navigation of content on the Department's website.

Implementing an accessible, user-centric online content experience in coordination with the Communication team, internal content creators, and other stakeholders.

Monitoring and auditing webpages and digital content for ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance; remediating and documenting issues as needed.

Function as a liaison with Strategic Technology Solutions, STS Business Operations, and Department IT staff, to support project planning, rollout, and governance of AEM-based web properties.

Assisting with tracking and reporting on compliance-related project milestones, metrics, and documentation; staying current on accessibility standards and best practices.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required for IT Project Manager position:

Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Website Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of experience managing Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets).

Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining ADA and WCAG-compliant websites.

Familiarity with web accessibility tools (e.g., Site Improve) and manual accessibility testing techniques.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working as a web developer or web project manager in government, higher education, or a large public institution environment preferred.

Adobe AEM certification(s) or equivalent practical experience preferred.
