Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnosing and fixing issues with automated equipment, including robotic and automated systems.
Preventative Maintenance:
Performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
Installation and Setup:
Assisting with the installation and setup of new automated equipment and assembly lines.
System Operation and Modification:
Operating and modifying automated systems, including setting up manual and semi-automatic assembly lines.
Programming and Documentation:
Creating and editing robot programs, updating manuals and programs for automated equipment, and keeping accurate reports of activities performed.
Collaboration and Communication:
Providing input to engineering staff on areas for machine improvements and communicating with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
Safety and Quality:
Supporting company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
Working with Automated Systems:
Familiarity with and experience using PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automation technologies.
Technical Skills:
Possessing strong technical skills in areas like electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as mechanical knowledge.
Problem-solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with automated systems.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with other team members.
