Outcomes:
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:
Formally track all tasks, to include: assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.
Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.
Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.
Responsibilities:
The United States Air Force (USAF) Concepts, Development, and Management (CDM) Program Office conducts the planning and acquisition of cost-effective, critical capabilities in order to support the war-fighting mission of the combatant commanders.
The Intelligence Program Analyst – SME (CrossCheck) supports the CDM Commercial Risk Analysis and Services Hub (CRASH) and its CrossCheck software processes deconflicting project management requirements for its vendor threat mitigation portfolio to ensure the timely delivery of intelligence and intel-related content & analysis to support the mission partners. The Intelligence Program Analyst applies knowledge and experience in all-source analysis, business intelligence, special operations, and project management to support the execution of DoD and IC operations. Per sections 1.3.1.1, Project Management/Acquisition Planning Support, and section 1.3.5, Intelligence Support, specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides support utilizing CrossCheck, an internal software application to assist in deconflicting acquisition initiatives.
Conduct all-source research to inform commercial risk assessments and due diligence products.
Utilize technical and analytical skills to develop and manage business intelligence solutions; create processes to retrieve and organize data, evaluate the findings, and submit through the various report methods.
Utilize both unclassified and classified databases to collect, analyze, synthesize, and disseminate due diligence reports.
Identify information gaps in open source and business intelligence; recommend steps to mitigate the gaps.
Evaluate the validity, accuracy, reliability, credibility and urgency of all information.
Develop and maintain finished intelligence products and project documentation.
Develop and coordinate responses to taskers in response to internal and external project inquiries.
Identify business, technological, and financial risks within ongoing programs and opportunities.
Support technology evaluation, assessment, and market research efforts.
Provide ongoing project execution oversight and leadership to include schedule development and monitoring; technical development prioritization, goal setting, and monitoring; technical execution performance monitoring and assessment; resource monitoring and assessment; risk and issue identification and mitigation; and financial execution monitoring.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience supporting the DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) and familiarity with DoD Combatant Commands and Standard staff functions.
Of those years, ten (10) years of work-related experience supporting a component of DoD.
Solid working experience or expertise analyzing business and open-source intelligence databases and commercial networks and have a comprehensive understanding of all-source intelligence analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, apply analytical techniques and critical thinking skills,
Possess excellent oral and written communications, and willingness to learn and navigate multiple system applications.
Ability to work independently and with teams of other analysts to collect information, conduct analysis, and develop risk management solutions in support of department of defense operations, activities, and investments.
Demonstrate sound analytical skillsets in product development.
Experienced in giving briefings and presentations, and
Experience in inter-and intra-agency collaboration and coordination.
The following qualifications are desired:
Experience as a military intelligence officer, industrial base analyst, or acquisition analyst versed in market research, sourcing, and/or resourcing,
Experience with CrossCheck
PMP
Travel: Some local travel may be required in the NCR and occasional long-distance travel outside the NCR.
