**Job Summary**
The licensed Airframe and Powerplant (AP) mechanic is responsible for maintaining aircraft, aviation department planning and budgeting, and participates & improves tool tracking programs. This position may include more administrative duties than actual maintenance and repair.
**Essential Functions**
+ Conducts all aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair.
+ Maintains shop and hangar tools and equipment, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives (ADs)
+ Meticulously maintains aircraft documents and records
+ Contributes to various Operation Manuals Tracks
+ Forecasts maintenance and budgeting for optimized aircraft utilization
+ Reviews ADs and Service Bulletins to ensure compliance and best industry practices
+ Contributes to Safety Management System and Aviation Safety Action Program
+ Other duties as assigned
+ **Required Qualifications for Position**
+ Associate's degree from accredited institution or equivalent work experience
+ Demonstrated knowledge and ability to quickly assess and make sound decisions
+ Ability to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions
+ Ability to recognize and evaluate risks, balance competing priorities and work with people at different levels within the organization
+ Ability to learn software programs
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, in particular Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams, Excel and Power Point.
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant (AP) License
+ **Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position**
+ Experience with CAMP maintenance tracking program
+ FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) license

**Salary Range
$93,800.00 - $140,700.00
