Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its Cardiothoracic Surgery team. The provider will be responsible for assisting in surgical cases, patient rounds, and emergency on-call coverage. This role requires expertise in endoscopic vein harvesting and the ability to work both in the operating room and inpatient settings.

Assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery procedures, including CABG, AVR, TAVR, aortic, and thoracic cases.

Serve as First Assist in surgeries, scrubbing in alongside the surgical team.

Perform endoscopic vein harvesting as needed.

Participate in rotating on-call duties for emergency cases.

Conduct inpatient rounds and collaborate with physicians on patient care.

Document patient progress using Cerner and Epic EMR systems.

Board Certified PA or NP.

Active Pennsylvania state license.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR (must be through AHA or Red Cross).

DEA License required.

Experience in endoscopic vein harvesting is mandatory.
