Cloud Email Security Analyst

This role can be based in various offices or remotely. It reports to the Enterprise Messaging Manager.

Role Overview

The Cloud Email Security Analyst, under the direction of the Enterprise Messaging Manager, manages daily email security solutions, reviews and analyzes threats, incidents, and strategies, and collaborates with messaging engineers and security teams to maintain a secure email environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, report, and respond to email security incidents.

Administer email security measures including authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), spam and virus filtering, URL rewriting, and attachment scanning.

Manage messaging systems, focusing on Microsoft Cloud offerings like Exchange Online, Teams, and related policies.

Develop and implement solutions, troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and provide metrics.

Participate in disaster recovery planning and provide 24x7 incident response.

Support Proofpoint Email Security Solutions and recommend strategies for emerging threats.

Identify and respond to email security threats, collaborate with IT teams, and support end users and help desk.

Participate in after-hours on-call duties and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Understanding of email security threats and standards.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.

Education & Experience

8+ years in messaging systems environment, with 4+ years in cloud-based messaging.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Technology or equivalent.

Experience in law firms and enterprise migration projects is highly desirable.

Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Exchange Online Protection, Azure, and DNS solutions.
