Warehouse Associate

2nd Shift

The Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for various tasks involved in the storage, organization, and distribution of goods within a warehouse setting. This role typically involves receiving, unpacking, labeling, storing, and picking items according to orders. Warehouse associates may also be involved in inventory management, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and occasionally operating machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday

2nd Shift: 2pm – 11pm

Where You’ll Be Working:

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work on-site at the Millcraft division located at:

3423 Southpark Pl, Grove City, OH 43123

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck to pull and prepare outbound customer orders

Build, wrap, sort, pick, pack, and stage customer orders

Load outbound delivery trucks and will calls

Consolidate product to maximize space utilization

Repackage and/or relabel products due to damages/vendor errors and returns

Stock received merchandise and/or movement of stock items

Clean the workspace as you for and participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe and accident free

Answer phones and follow-up on orders, shortages and/or mistakes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skill

Attention to detail, organization and project management skills

Excellent customer service skills

Proven ability to read and interpret printed orders and direction

Demonstrated record of safety and quality control

Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a member of a team

Regularly exhibits a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation

Perform duties under minimal direction

High sense of urgency and be able to multi-task competing priorities

Excellent attendance record.

Must have proficient math skills

Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift items that weigh a minimum of 50lbs regularly

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to bend, stoop and climb repetitiously throughout the day

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Minimum 1+ years’ warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving

Minimum 1+ years’ experience with Forklifts

Minimum 1+ years’ experience with Pallet Jacks

Minimum 1+ years’ experience with Reach Trucks

COMPENSATION:
