Nature of Work:
The A/V Engineer will be responsible for providing the Stadium Operations Department with technology management of stadium videoboards, control room, audio systems, and services to include technology solutions provided to KSE staff and clients at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering & Conversion.
Examples of work performed:
Directly responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of venue Daktronics and Panasonic digital video boards with KSE staff or contracted vendors.
Directly responsible for the operation & maintenance of all audio, video, CATV, digital menus, and production control room equipment - ensuring maintenance according to factory specifications or industry standards.
Installation, removal, and troubleshooting of cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
Coordinate audio-visual requirements and services with KSE event management staff, clients and tenants for in-house events, radio and television broadcasts.
Monitor AV system efficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide event related maintenance, services and support.
Review, preform, and maintain regular department work orders on equipment through use of CMMS (maintenance system).
Assists the Director of Engineering & Conversion in a variety of stadium engineering capacities in addition to AV engineering responsibilities.
Must be able to work in outdoor/adverse weather conditions, extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

Moderate to very loud noise.
Clear vision at 20”, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and identify and distinguish colors.
Work near moving mechanical parts up to 2/3 of time.
Work in high, precarious places, in outdoor weather conditions, and with risk of electrical shock, up to 1/4 of time.
Qualifications:
Minimum
High School or GED
2-5 years of experience in the field of A/V and production control room technologies; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related industry preferred.
Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

CTS Certifications
BS/BA degree in field or related field

Compensation:
Base salary range $25.42 – 27.24 per hour
