Overview:
The CFO is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance for Kastel Group. Managing an annual budget of $40M, the CFO will ensure sound fiscal operations while collaborating with the CEO and executive team to optimize business strategies and margins.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial strategy, planning, and reporting.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses.
Manage revenue cycles, accounts receivable, and reduce bad debts.
Direct compliance, risk management, and rate negotiations with payors.
Optimize financial controls and internal processes.
Provide timely financial reports and analysis to the CEO and Board.
Advise leadership on cost-saving strategies and revenue growth.
Maintain relationships with external partners (auditors, banks, consultants).
Oversee cash flow planning, investments, and asset management.
Collaborate with fundraising and grant management teams.
Monitor financial metrics, address variances, and ensure regulatory reporting.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred).
10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management is a plus.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial forecasting.
Proficient in MS Office, Sage 100, and financial reporting systems.
Proven leadership skills in building and managing high-performing teams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Experience in project management, grant oversight, and strategic financial planning.
