About the Role:

The Construction Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of construction projects at Pepper Pike Capital Partners. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of project accounting, including job costing, contract billing, and accounts receivable. The Construction Accountant will analyze financial data to provide accurate cost reporting and reconciliation, which is essential for project profitability. By collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders, this role will help to identify financial risks and opportunities, ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Ultimately, the Construction Accountant will contribute to the overall success of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or construction accounting.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cost reporting and project cost accounting in the construction industry.

Familiarity with construction contracts and billing processes.

Certification as a CPA or CMA is a plus.
