ABOUT THE POSITION
The Behavior Technician (BT) is responsible for supporting students throughout daily activities such as daily routines, snack/lunch, recess, group lessons, and enrichment activities. BTs provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to students through the implementation of the prescribed treatment plan and collection of daily data. BTs work closely with the BCBA and teacher to develop professional skills and promote a unified, team-oriented atmosphere. We provide training and offer competitive wages that are commensurate with experience in the field.
$24.00 - $30.00 Hourly
Based on licensure, education, and years of applicable experience

Typical Duties
Maintain necessary documentation of all therapy services and quality care issues.
Implement the behavioral treatment plans for assigned students
Maintain ongoing communication with treatment team members
Collaborate with the team when changes are needed in student interventions
Assure proper supervision and hand-off of student care
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with professional ethics and according to facility standards.
Seek out professional development opportunities
Accurately track billable hours and maintain familiarity with billable expectations with the support of the Clinical Director and billing specialist.
Adhere to facility and personnel policies and procedures.
Some local travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Prior work or experience with children preferred
Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) required; Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred. Training provided.
Must maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license.
Successful completion of CPR and First Aid certification.
Successful completion of Safety Care training and orientation.
