Update semantic models to support new reporting needs, monitor model efficiency and implement changes as needed to optimize performance

Work with SQL-based datasets from Microsoft Fabric to create clean, reusable models for reporting

Assist with managing row-level security (RLS)

Monitor and manage data alerts

Help document data definitions and report logic for consistency and governance

Provide internal support and training to teams that use Power BI for decision-making

Serve as the liaison between internal stakeholders and offshore consultants for larger report builds or platform upgrades

You're a Great Fit for the Power BI Analyst Role If You Have:

Bachelors in Business Analytics, Data or Computer Science or related field

4-6 years of experience working in Power BI report development in a business-facing role

Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques

Proficient in SQL and working with cloud-based data sources (preferably Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse)

Ability to translate business needs into well-designed, performant dashboards

Comfortable with Agile-style iteration and fast-turnaround development

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, or Synapse environments is preferred

Prior experience collaborating with offshore development teams or consultants is preferred

Familiarity with BI governance and documentation best practices is preferred

Experience with PySpark and Python libraries for data processing is preferred

Working knowledge of Tableau is preferred

Understanding of dimensional data modeling is preferred

Benefits:
