Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized speech-language services in an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting K-12 students with diverse language needs, particularly within a multicultural environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or certification.

Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8 students.

Proficiency in conducting language screenings and assessments.

Strong ability to develop and implement Response to Intervention (RtI) plans.

Cultural competence in working with students from varied backgrounds, especially Nepali and Kinyarwanda speakers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

Dublin, OH

Responsibilities:

Conduct language screenings for kindergarten students and evaluate speech and language needs.

Collaborate with education staff to identify students requiring speech and language services.

Develop and facilitate language RtI groups to support students ongoing communication skills.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student served.

Provide targeted interventions for students with speech and language delays.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
