Job Description

The role involves setting up and operating large CNC machines equipped with Okuma, HAAS, and Fanuc controls. You will work on production parts primarily consisting of wheels and wheel components, manufactured from aluminum for the automotive and aerospace industries.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate large CNC machines, including Okuma, HAAS, and Fanuc controls.

Handle production parts primarily consisting of wheels and wheel components made from aluminum.

Utilize precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, for accurate measurements.

Perform program edits and adjustments as necessary.

Collaborate as a self-motivated, focused, and organized team player.Essential Skills

Proficiency in CNC Lathe operations and set-ups.

Experience with precision measuring tools and blueprint reading.

Familiarity with Okuma, HAAS, and Fanuc controls.

Ability to edit and modify CNC programs.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with vertical turning lathes.

Knowledge of working with large parts.

Work Environment

Work in a 100,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with approximately 45 CNC lathes, including Okuma’s, HAAS, and other advanced machinery. The role requires working on 2nd and 3rd shifts in a dynamic environment focused on manufacturing aluminum components.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oxnard, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $115000.00/yr.
