Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the highest standards of operational sanitation and product labeling accuracy within our food production facility. This role requires a food industry with familiarity in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food hygiene.
Responsibilities
Conduct hourly rounds to check and manage operational sanitation.
Perform label checks to ensure correct labels match the final products.
Maintain and update quality assurance documentation.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Utilize computer skills for emailing, auditing, and editing Excel sheets.Essential Skills
Experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of GMPs and food hygiene.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, including email and Excel.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but English proficiency is essential.
Previous experience in food production is advantageous to understand GMP and food requirements.
HACCP knowledge is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a refrigerated plant with a total of 75 employees across two shifts, focused on fresh and raw sausage production. The temperature on the floor is approximately 45 degrees. During graveyard shifts, you will work independently for most of the shift, aside from time spent doing QA documentation with the outside crew.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
