Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembly and packaging tasks, utilizing hand tools and reading blueprints and work instructions. You will be responsible for taping boxes and counting inventory.
Responsibilities
Assemble various size cases to store expensive equipment such as cameras, including adding foam to each case.
Participate in the flashlight line, assembling mid-size flashlights.
Lift items weighing between 7-35 lbs.
Train on and operate pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.
Use small drills, hammers, and rivet machines for packaging purposes.
Utilize your own set of tools provided for assembly tasks.Essential Skills
Experience in production or light industry, particularly mechanical assembly.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and work orders.
Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Familiarity with reading blueprints and work instructions.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized environment, assembling heavy-duty cases to store lighting accessories, cameras, and more. You will be required to work first, second, or third shifts with corresponding hourly rates. Safety glasses, gloves, and orange vests will be provided, but employees must supply their own steel-toed boots.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75/hr.
