Job Description
Ensure regular and punctual attendance according to shift times or a pre-arranged work schedule. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions, while maintaining proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities
Read and interpret advanced aerospace blueprints, maintaining part configuration and tagging as appropriate.
Conduct visual inspections of received and outgoing products.
Replenish shipping department supplies.
Operate and maintain shipping equipment and machinery.
Handle transport, storage, and maintenance of Customer Owned Packaging (C.O.P.).
Perform freight packaging and documentation tasks.
Be exposed to chemicals and odors such as forklift fumes and truck exhaust fumes.
Work in a fast-paced environment to meet production and quality goals.
Study production schedules and estimate delivery times.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Mentor and train other employees.Essential Skills
Experience with forklift operation.
1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Detail-oriented with quick learning capabilities.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to speak in front of a group and provide direction.
Basic computer skills for scanning work orders and looking up specifications.
Excellent vision, including normal color vision.
Ability to interpret advanced aerospace blueprint drawings.
Ability to perform basic math functions.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication skills to positively represent the company.
Knowledge of various packing materials and their appropriate use.
Ability to train other employees in shipping and receiving methods or procedures.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility for coatings of aerospace parts, exposed to various smells of chemicals, plating baths, NDT, and paint booths.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
