We are offering a temporary to permanent opportunity for an Android/Java Programmer in the healthcare and social assistance sector. The selected candidate will be based in Clearwater, Florida. Focused on creating and maintaining applications for our custom-designed equipment, this role involves direct hardware integration and an in-depth understanding of Android app structure and deployment.
FULLY ONSITE ROLE IN CLEARWATER, FL LOCATION. MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL ANDROID APPLICATION EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 3 YEARS.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new features for current and next-generation Android units.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with custom electronics.
• Debug existing applications and improve stability and performance.
• Build new applications for future hardware platforms.
• Facilitate communication with hardware via USB from Android apps.
• Support outbound communication from devices to our cloud system using HTTP and WebSockets.
• Utilize Android SDK and Java to create efficient applications.
• Work with Android Studio to develop and debug applications.
• Implement CSS for effective UI/UX design.
• Integrate hardware platforms for optimal functionality.• Proficiency in Android Development, with a deep understanding of the Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
• Expertise in CSS for effective interface design.
• Familiarity with hardware integrations, with a focus on healthcare-specific devices.
• Understanding and experience with various hardware platforms.
• Ability to work with USB interfaces and related hardware.
• Prior experience in Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance sectors would be beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including healthcare professionals and other developers.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Android development and hardware integration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
