Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team on the 1st Shift, working Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts. Overtime may be required on Fridays as needed. The successful candidate will operate Okuma CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts, perform spot checks for quality assurance, and program and set up machines as necessary.
Responsibilities
Operate Okuma CNC lathes to produce quality parts.
Perform spot checks on parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Program and set up machines as required to maintain production efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating CNC lathes.
Experience with Okuma machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skill in using precision measuring tools such as calipers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Y-axis milling.

Work Environment
You will work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment, where adherence to safety standards is paramount. The role involves hands-on operation of advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
