Job Description
This role involves working in a full manufacturing facility dedicated to producing asphalt maintenance equipment. The equipment manufactured in this facility is designed to heat, store, transport, and apply various types of asphaltic materials essential for road maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform fabrication and welding operations for large hoppers and tanks, ensuring leakproof processes as per documented manufacturing procedures and prints.
Set up and operate the Axcess 40v wire feeder and Axcess 300 pulse welder.
Weld the tank and hopper walls using MIG and Pulse welding techniques.
Utilize jigs and fixtures required for most day-to-day operations.
Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before proceeding to the next step in the fulfillment process.Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in MIG pulse welding.
Proficiency in completing welding processes.
Comfortable with blueprint reading and MIG welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret weld symbols.
Capability to perform basic structural weld joints such as T, Lap, Corner to corner, Butt.
Skilled in MIG and Pulse welding procedures and operations, with some TIG experience.
Ability to produce welds that are aesthetically acceptable and meet company standards.
Consistent ability to weld to leak-proof standards.
Experience with open tank, closed tank, and hot oil leakproof testing procedures.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
