Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will be trained to manufacture high-quality printing ink. This role involves operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth production of ink products. We are looking for dedicated individuals for various shifts to contribute to our dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
Package finished products in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
Weigh-up batches, following the process order of addition.
Safely discharge pigment and operate mixers according to SOPs.
Operate Hockmeyer mills, maintaining optimal equipment effectiveness standards.
Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas, including processing times.
Operate press out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts.
Serve as a QC liaison by providing ink samples, making adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with repackaging tasks.Essential Skills
6+ months of production experience.
3+ months of operating experience.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to learn.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility dedicated to ink production. Employees are provided with uniforms to protect their personal clothing from ink. Facilities include a locker room and other accommodations. Shift differentials are offered, with $1 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.
