Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous audits and inspections. You will collaborate with various teams to uphold quality standards throughout the product lifecycle and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Conduct audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, development, operations) to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Communicate quality issues and findings effectively to stakeholders.

Participate in meetings and presentations to share information and updates.

Utilize quality assurance/control tools and techniques.

Lead and motivate a team of quality inspectors.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members.

Perform data analysis and reporting.

Manage Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.

Review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Essential Skills

Extensive experience in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.

Strong experience in maintaining a proactive process aimed at preventing defects by managing the entire production process.

Ability to evaluate products or services to ensure they meet quality standards.

Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Excellent visual acuity and ability to identify even minor defects.

Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulations.

Ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform quality improvement initiatives.

Clear and accurate record-keeping of inspection results.

Effective communication with production personnel, quality management, and other stakeholders.Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.

Strong understanding of quality inspection in manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is a modern manufacturing facility that is air-conditioned and equipped with Industry 4.0 technology. Employees should be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is necessary, and the role requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
